The Hero's Welcome General Store is located in a century-old building on the shore of Lake Champlain.  You'll find us in the village of North Hero, Vermont, which was founded in 1788  by the Revolutionary War "heroes" from Ethan and Ira Allen's famed Green Mountain Boys.

The main store is housed in the original structure, but the property now includes several buildings, a bakery, cafe, marina, boat landing, post office and general store.

We now have a webcam looking over our dock on City Bay, so check back often to see the weather in the Lake Champlain Islands, to watch the rowers, kayakers, sailors and motorboaters go out on the water, or to see if the skating rink is set up yet!  For Real-Time Video, Click on the image at left or here.
